Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do on the Grid AI platform. It applies to both Consumers (who run workloads) and Providers (who contribute hardware), and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited Content and Activities
You may not use the Service to create, store, or process anything illegal, infringing, or harmful — including malware, content that infringes intellectual-property rights, child sexual abuse material, or content that violates the privacy or rights of others.
You may not use the Service to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system or network, to send spam, or to conduct fraud.
2. Export Controls and Sanctions
You may not use the Service, or provide compute through it, in violation of export-control or sanctions laws. This includes providing advanced computing capability to restricted destinations, entities, or persons, or accessing the Service from a comprehensively sanctioned region.
3. Data on Shared Hardware
Standard compute runs on hardware operated by independent Providers who retain control of their machines. You must not submit regulated or secret data (for example, data subject to HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or similar regimes, or third-party confidential information) to standard compute. You are responsible for ensuring your use is appropriate for the data involved.
4. Provider Conduct
If you contribute hardware, you must not access, read, copy, modify, exfiltrate, or interfere with the workloads or data of Consumers running on your machine, or attempt to defeat the isolation the Service applies.
You must keep your node and credentials secure and must not misrepresent your hardware or usage, or attempt to manipulate metering or payouts.
5. Consumer Conduct
You must not use compute to mine cryptocurrency where prohibited, to conduct denial-of-service attacks, to scan or attack systems without authorization, or to otherwise abuse Provider resources beyond what you have paid for.
You must not attempt to circumvent security controls, metering, billing, or usage limits.
6. Resource and Security Abuse
You may not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure without our prior written consent, or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on the Service.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, remove content or nodes, withhold or reverse related payouts, and report violations to authorities where required. We may act immediately where there is risk of harm.
8. Reporting Violations
